In recent years, we have realized a number of fantastic projects in Belgium. Not enough for our taste! So in 2013, Rosval appointed a project consultant to make sure that we found our niche in the Belgium market.
The name kokOvin might suggest that this is a typical restaurant, but the menu proves otherwise. However, the set-up is very fresh, modern and cozy.
KokOvin chose for quality which naturally led to Rosval. Rosval delivered a complete kitchen installation including a Rosval Topline cooker equipped with an induction cooker, gas hob, electric griddle and fryer.
Master Chef Bert Meewis and his partner Karlijn Libbrecht of Restaurant Slagmolen have chosen Rosval. At the beginning of 2015, the two star Slagmolen restaurant was expanded with an orangery for parties.
Bert and Karlijn opted to have the total concept carried out by just one party. And after a visit to our company, it quickly became clear that Rosval was the only party with all the knowhow that could deliver this.
Bert chose for innovation, while Karlijn went for efficiency. And of course, this is part of Rosval’s DNA: seamless work tables, skirting boards finished in stainless steel, LED lighting mounted in the work tables and cooling without rubber seals.
Maaseik is an ancient city with a beautiful marketplace. Restaurant De Bokkerijder is located there and this restaurant serves dishes that make you want to lick your fingers and thumbs!
Johnny and his two brothers have run this temple to eating from an early age. But over time, they realized that they needed a new kitchen.
The project was completely developed according to the needs and wishes of the kitchen team and delivered in less than 3 weeks.
The De Eenhoorn is located in a historic building in the beautiful town of Basel. This restaurant offers stylish French-Belgian cuisine.
The catering manager opted for a Rosval kitchen because of the long life-span. As well as the cooker, Rosval work tables, (invisibly mounted) wall shelves and the pass were also chosen. Everything is seamless, and in order to guarantee hygiene, there are no corners or angles.
In cooperation with Gerard de Wolf bvba, Rosval has installed a unique cooker in the Bistro de Paris restaurant in the resort town of Knokke.
The cooker has a painted front plate which matches the Mibrasa charcoal oven.
Another 'custom' option is their own logo in the cooker picked out in LED lighting. It’s clear that the owner of this restaurant has really put the ‘spotlight’ on the Rosval cooker.
Hotel Mons is a new hotel that was completed at the beginning of 2015. Hotel Mons challenged Rosval to incorporate all the latest innovations into the large kitchen.
Implementation and result
Rosval installed a complete kitchen including a Rosval Topline cooker with an induction hob and an induction griddle, induction wok, pasta cooker, grill and bain marie. The cooker was also fitted with a continuous (seamless) work surface of at least 2.5 mm thick stainless steel.
A fantastic project at a beautiful location!
A unique location in Oostmalle, Belgium. The client had moved to a larger location and had first carried out some major renovations. Rosval has been allowed to install its latest innovation here. Haute Cookure has chosen for rubber-free refrigeration equipment. Rosval has also supplied a fantastic customised bar.
Vulpia is an institution (nursing homes) with several locations in Belgium. It is a service-driven organization in the healthcare sector, focused on the provision of quality care. The requirements and demands of a large kitchen were quite a challenge for Rosval.
At Vulpia Arthur, Rosval fitted an industrial kitchen which met all their wishes. The high raised edges, seamlessly integrated cookers, washing stations and mobile work tables and trolleys are a must in this establishment.
In the middle of 2015, Vulpia opened a new location, Huis Aan Zee. This new project is a jewel as far as healthcare institutions are concerned. For Huis Aan Zee, Vulpia has gone for Rosval’s complete kitchen concept. The appliances that were chosen are all of a very durable quality. These include stainless steel floor troughs with rounded plinths, a seamless top plate of 1.5 millimetres, high raised edges of 400 millimetres, cooking and roasting pans with electronic displays etcetera. This latest challenge is already the fourth project for the Vulpia Care Group. They trust Rosval and are convinced about their quality and service, the DNA of Rosval.
Vulpia is soon to open a new nursing home on the coast.
The name of this Vulpia project can only be ‘Huis Aan Zee’ (House on the sea). As soon as you enter the lobby, you feel at home here.
The beautiful interior and warm colours give an extra feeling of 'home'.
Rosval has adapted the brasserie in this way. The open kitchen has been laid out very ergonomically and has a central island cooker. In addition, the dish washing room is neatly concealed.
Of course, in this concept you must have proper ventilation. Therefore, the ventilation system chosen ensures that no noise or odours are produced.
If you are ever in Blankenberge, it is certainly worth visiting.
Arthur is a care home institution with several locations in Belgium. It is a service-driven organization in the care sector, focused on high quality care. The demands and requirements of a large kitchen installation provided a good challenge for Rosval.
At the Vulpia site, Rosval created a large kitchen for Arthur that met all their requirements. The high raised edges, seamless built-in boiling vessels, washing up areas, and mobile work tables and trolleys are an absolute must in this set up.
In mid-2015, Vulpia opened Huis Aan Zee. This new project on the coast is a real gem in terms of healthcare institutions. For Huis Aan Zee, Vulpia awarded the total kitchen concept to Rosval. All the equipment that was chosen is of sustainable quality. For example, stainless steel rounded plinths with welded floor trunking, seamless work surfaces of 1.5 mm, folded edges of 400 mm, boiling vessels and a roasting dish with electronic read-out etc. This challenge is already the fourth project realized for the Vulpia Care Group. They trust Rosval and are also convinced by the quality and service, the DNA of Rosval.
In Geel, Katrien and Koen, two passionate catering managers, have turned a new building into a real palace for diners.
The couple recently opened their new business De Post, the same name as their previous enterprise.
To create the kitchen, Katrien and Koen contacted Rosval and together developed their ideas about what they wanted in a professionally operating kitchen.
A completely customised kitchen was chosen including a five metre Rosval induction cooker, a Cool-Spot work table and refrigeration without rubber seals.
The kitchen is totally maintenance-friendly as it has been equipped with rounded plinths. It really is worth going to see it!
